The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Frustration Regarding Sizing Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has updated its size classifications for women's and children's garments failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The company said the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to review their products and manually change the size if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Changes
Previously, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, from Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, from Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
