Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
